After months of rumors and speculation, DigiTimes reports with certainty that Amazon will come up with own LCD tablet. The report suggests specifically that Quanta Computer responsible for compiling the tablet, which will need to have a TI processor and Wintek touch panel will be.
DigiTimes adds that Amazon wants to about four million pieces of these tablets ship in 2011 only. The Amazon tablet device is expected to be launched as soon as August, but we would rather hear the launch date, as well as the existence of the tablet itself, of the company itself.
