Solar-powered netbooks is unheard of in the United States, even if the country on an ‘ eco ‘ mood lately. Don’t worry, however, because Samsung has announced that its NC235S solar-powered netbook available in the US will be from 3 July.
The gadget features a mat 10.1-inch LCD display with 1024 x 600 resolution, 1 GB RAM, a 1.66 GHz Intel Atom N570 dual-core processor, and a bunch of solar cells built into the lid. Samsung claims that the netbook Gets an hour of battery life for every two hours of bask under the Sun, adding that the for up to 14 hours long can work.
The Samsung NC215S solar-powered netbook will be sold with a suggested retail price of $ 399. It will also be available in Africa and Russia.
